Minor in Spanish
A minor in Spanish requires 15 upper division hours in the language. The first two years of beginning and intermediate level course work serve as prerequisites to all upper division courses. These courses are SPAN 1410, SPAN 1420, SPAN 2310, and SPAN 2320. In addition, SPAN 3308 is a prerequisite to all other upper division courses, and SPAN 3309 is a prerequisite to all other upper division literature courses.
|SPAN 1410||Beginning Spanish I 1||4|
|SPAN 1420||Beginning Spanish II 1||4|
|SPAN 2310||Intermediate Spanish I 1||3|
|SPAN 2320||Intermediate Spanish II 1||3|

Many students successfully satisfy these prerequisites by passing a credit-bearing test (e.g. CLEP). Please contact the Department Chair for more information.
