Career Services serves as a bridge between students' college experience and life after Texas State University. Starting their first year, and continuing beyond graduation, we are here to help students explore who they are, to weight their options, and to pursue their careers. In addition we will help them to connect their experiences--whether from the classroom, campus activities, on- or off-campus work, internships, or even graduate school--to their post-graduation goals.

Career Planning and Exploration - Career Counselors are here to help you research majors, study your options, and plan and implement your professional future.

Career Advising and Job Search - Career Advisors are also available to further discuss the job search, including resumes, cover letters, interview skills, and salary negotiations.

Internships and Jobs - In Jobs4Cats, our exclusive job search database, students can find part-time/full-time employment and internship opportunities. Job seekers can also apply for on and off-campus positions through this online resources. 

Employer Connections - There are also a wide range of opportunities to research and network with employers, including more than 20 career fairs, dozens of workshops and information sessions, and hundreds of employers interviewing on campus.
