University Seminar is an introduction to the nature and aims of university education, with special emphasis on the value of broad learning. US 1100 is required of all undergraduate students entering the university with 0-15 semester credit hours completed since high school graduation.

US 2100. Introduction to Research and Discovery.

This course provides a discipline-related overview of research procedures for first and second year students, including primary literature, data collection, and the scientific method. Students will complete the course with a greater awareness of research opportunities and develop academic and professional skills in preparation for immersion in undergraduate research.
