As Williamson County continues to experience significant annual growth — the population now exceeds 500,000 — the University Master Plan positions the Round Rock Campus to continue serving the needs of the area. Collectively, Texas State University’s Round Rock Campus (RRC) provides instructional space, administrative offices, and student support spaces. Despite its increased focus on healthcare education, the RRC will continue to offer upper-level courses leading to baccalaureate degrees in an array of disciplines as well as offering select master’s degrees and a professional doctoral program. Additionally, the needs of Central Texas are further served by offerings of certifications and continuing education, online and distance learning opportunities via evening and weekend sessions — delivering vital education for working adults, professionals and lifelong learners.

The RRC offers daytime and evening classes for students interested in completing their degree program. From its inception, the Round Rock Campus (RRC)  has offered classes after 5:00 p.m. four nights per week for the working or adult student. Students may enroll in hybrid and online courses and, if they choose, can complete their freshman- and sophomore-level classes at the San Marcos campus, at a community college or at some other accredited institution before transferring to the RRC.

Undergraduate Degree Programs

To register for classes at the Round Rock Campus, students must have completed their sophomore year or have earned at least 45 transferable hours. The 45 hours of credit must be from one of the several bachelor's degree programs offered by the RRC. Students who intend to complete the junior- and senior-level classes at the RRC will follow the same application process as other applicants to Texas State. Because the advising and orientation processes are unique to the RRC it is important to contact RRC student services as soon as possible.

Graduate Degree Programs

The RRC offers 16 master’s degree programs and 1 professional doctorate in physical therapy.  For more information about admissions requirements and application procedures as well as the list of programs, call, visit or email the address above.
